"To publish or not to publish, that is the question!" (in Hamlet's voice😋😋)

Yes, I do have several unpublished texts too.

Some remain unpublished because I believe they're not ready yet; the time to birth them has not yet come.
Others, I deem not good enough. They need lots of editing and may be irredeemable in the end—just typical writer's moments, as you say.
Some pieces are too raw and vulnerable, and I fear they reveal too much of my mind and can make others uneasy and fear it—my mind, that is, and maybe me too, who came up with it.

Personally, I'm comfortable with a certain level of vulnerability embedded in my writing. If that threshold is surpassed, I either preserve the piece as a personal treasure that I can (maybe) post in the future, or if the message is important for the present, I edit out the most vulnerable parts and replace them with less vulnerable statements, and then I post it, hoping it's not missing anything and hasn't lost its essence.

P. S I will release one of my drafts—an essay on Hamlet, a character and title of a Shakespeare book, mentioned in my opening note.
Even though it feels like the wrong timing, I hope you guys look out for it and cheer me on.
